If you need and further advice/help post it up on here.1986 Honda ATC200X, This 1986 Honda ATC 200X was a sporting model ATV introduced by Honda Motor Company, the inventor of three-wheeled, off-road, recreational bikes. It actually gives some pictures, and tells you what to do step by step. I learned how to do this in my tecate manual. They say to just replace the shock absorber. For some reason, the manual dosnt go into detail about how to change the seal, same as the yamaha ones. This is just to get an idea on what to do. Most cycle shops can do this for around $5. You will also have to find someone to recharge your shock with nitrogen after you get the new oil in in, and put it all back together. Once you get that off, you can basically slide the whole shaft out the bottom, and you will then be able to replace the seal/o rings. Once you get that off, there is a large C - clip that sits in the lower shock body. After you get that far, you have to remove the seal cover - aluminum piece near lower shock at the bottom of the body they make a special tool to unscrew this cap, but I usually use a pipe wrench or waterpump plires, just take it easy and use a rag so you dont mar it to hell. The spring will come off the opposite side of the shock, you have to take off the collar that the spring seats in. To start off, take it off the bike, and loosen the two large locknuts all the way to take the tension off the spring. They are really not as hard as one one assume.
